About this deal

Meanwhile, Elinor is also captured when she tries to alert local police, who are actually under Capricorn’s influence, of the upcoming execution. The finale of the film takes place within a ruined amphitheater nestled in the Italian mountains; this is the lair of Capricorn, one of the villains Mo has accidentally "read" into the real world. Mo and Resa Folchart read the fairy tale " Little Red Riding Hood" to their baby daughter Meggie, as a red velvet hood appears out of thin air.

Once Mo and Meggie are captured, however, Capricorn cruelly burns copies of Inkheart in front of Dustfinger; he does not reveal until later that he has one last copy, which he keeps in a heavily guarded casket.

Perhaps the story in the book is just the lid on a pan: It always stays the same, but underneath there's a whole world that goes on - developing and changing like our own world. The next morning, Mo unexpectedly announces that he and Meggie have to go to Meggie's Aunt Elinor's house because Mo has to fix some books.

Meggie soon discovers she has the same talent as her father when she summons the monster known as "The Shadow" out of the book. Brandon Fraser was talented as Mo, Helen Mirren and Jim Broadbent were very entertaining, Paul Bettany did extremely well at his performance, Eliza Bennett's acting was very solid as Meggie, and Andy Serkis was a lot of fun as Capricorn. Orpheus managed to read Dustfinger in, but didn't read Farid in, because he of the same reason he previously stated. Based on Cornelia Funke's novel of the same name, Inkheart is a magical story about a young Meggie and her father Mo who turns out to be a bookbinder, a person who can summon characters from books into reality using his voice.

He wishes he could see the world where his father, mother and sister were born in as he thinks it is much more exciting than his own because of the stories told to him by Elinor. Elinor leaves to recover what is left of her library as the others head for Alassio, the town of Inkheart author Fenoglio, who may have another copy. At first, Farid was reckless and scared, as he didn't know where he was, and resorted to attacking Mo and Meggie.

In October 2004, a series of various theatrical version of the first two books started with the world premiere of Inkheart at the Schauspielhaus Hannover. While the Brendan Fraser adaptation is immensely underrated by audiences, it has certain undeniable faults, and that is straying too far from Cornelia Funke's book. What if, instead of Capricorn, Basta and Dustfinger, Mo had read The Adderhead, The Piper and the Black Prince out of Inkheart instead? The three of them eventually leave to hide at Meggie's great-aunt Elinor's house in Northern Italy but end up being dragged off by Basta and his companions to the near village of Capricorn, because Dustfinger betrayed them as Capricorn promised him he would help him go back home. Although he betrayed Mortimer and sold him out to Capricorn, he only did so because Capricorn had promised that he would be sent back home. The Black Prince however, learns of the Milksop's march, and moves the children to a giant tree in the forest said to be a stronghold against giants. And if it does nothing else, at least it may inspire kids to read, if for no other reason than to help make sense of it all. That gift backfires when he accidentally summons Capricorn, the evil villain of the novel "Inkheart.
