Kudos to Margaret Rooke for helping bring the insights and wisdom of these remarkable young people to the world. Others will spend most of their time compensating by finding other abilities and honing other skills.The international focus of this book is refreshing too , and it just goes to show that those with dyslexia face similar challenges everywhere. Whilst the tips section at the back is a great concept, perhaps it would have been more useful to link these to specific themes rather than specific cases to make the tips more generalisable. Reading this book really moved me as I struggled with dyslexic in the 1980's where it was not spoken about nor deal with. He has started to come to terms that it is not a problem to have dyslexia, but he is about to go to secondary school, and this piece may well be inspiring for him. The Virgin Group no longer asks people for exam results and I think other companies should do the same.
