It’s one that will absolutely pull on your heartstrings, but will keep you hooked with these characters. And in true Kristen writing, she gave us characters dealing with real life struggles and mental health issues that everyone can relate to. As someone who also suffers from anxiety this story hit home in a few ways for me, and it was just really nice to read it, and not feel alone.

I would’ve devoured this book in one sitting if it wasn’t because I had to be a responsible adult and pay attention to life. Her journey in overcoming depression and learning to love herself and watching her gain a new family and love of her life was incredible.In fact, she’s moved back into her childhood home and she’s looking to revamp the place so she can make it her forever home.
