Thursday, June 9th, 2011Six of our lovely BM Models will be walking on the catwalk to showcase the graduate’s designs from the University of Brighton through an independent event they are hosting today. Furthermore our model Bernadette will be in the lookbook produced for the students final creations.
BM Models feels great pride in being able to support the next generation of fashion and loves the opportunity to work with creative students and graduates, we offer special rates for our student clientele as we understand that money can sometimes be a bit tight for them.
Brighton Frocks
Monday, June 6th, 2011On a warm Thursday night in Brighton town, in the gothic grandeur of St Martins church BFW 2011 bought us their Brighton Frocks theatrical catwalk spectacular.
The show featured twelve designers and the audience was treated to more than just the standard catwalk, each of the collection put on a performance for the audience with saucy seaside antics, ballet dancers and superheros all mixed up with the designs. Each of the collections was brilliantly unique and kept the audience thoroughly transfixed.
BM Models Bernadette, Bethany and Ngozi walked that night, and looked fantastic on the catwalk for Red Mutha, Former Glory and Afton Ayache.

The Fashion Trust
Sunday, June 5th, 2011In a competitive industry it can be difficult for small business and creative graduates to get a foothold in the staggering £37 billion UK fashion industry. This is where Fashion Trust wants to make a difference; they are a Sussex based organisation that aims to help fledgling designers and their new businesses. One way in which they do this is through the Fashion Sussex Award, to raise awareness and profile the various aspects of the fashion industry in Sussex.
This year BM Models is honoured that they have asked our creative director Bethania to be on the board of judges to help decide the winners for 2011.

BFW VIP Launch Party
Tuesday, May 31st, 2011On a Tuesday evening in May in a crowded suite in the Brighton Hilton Metropole, full of the fashionable and stylish of the city, Brighton Fashion Week 2011 launched itself with a bang!
With so much to grab your attention you just didn’t know what to look at, from the models circulating the room, a live photoshoot with Renaissance and Joanne Fleming Designs, to a live set from the talented Marmaduke Dando, not to mention all the fabulously dressed guests your eyes were spoilt for choice.
The night was a triumph, and we now can’t wait for the rest of the week!

Headmasters

Here at BM we love working with the team at the Brighton Headmasters salon, they used model Jamie to enter this years L’Oreal Colour Trophy, where they got through to the final London show and received a superb fourth place.
Introducing Bernadette
Sunday, April 3rd, 2011Here a BM we are proud to introduce one of our new faces to you, Bernadette. She joined our agency in February after coming along to our open casting, and since then she has been a very busy girl!
Bernadette’s first photo shoot was with Headmasters Salon’s creative team. Headmasters Salon Brighton are wonderful at supporting our new faces, the shoot utilised the skills of their amazing team, make-up by Ellie Gill and was shot by Jesper Mattias for his second collaboration with BM Models.
Her second shoot was a couture photo shoot for upcoming label Featherstone Frock, the photos from which will feature in for both their look book and new website.
Last Friday Bernadette walked for the very first time, after a little bit of training from Bethania, at IGIGI’s charity fashion show to Brighton’s fashion scene. It was an amazing event that we were so happy to be involved with, and the night was a great success!
This week the final year fashion students at the University of Brighton booked Bernadette for their look book, where she was able to model their fantastic creations. BM Models just loves being able to work with, and support fresh talent at universities; after all they are the future of the fashion industry.
This is just the beginning we have a lot more planned in her modelling future, she has already been booked to walk for London Graduate Week in June. So stay posted!

Four of BM Models lovely new faces are walking at IGIGI’s show on Friday 25th, and we can’t wait to see them. Or what they are wearing! They will be showcasing IGIGIi’s spring summer fashions as well as lots of other local brands
Not only is there all this lovely stuff going on you get to feel a it good as it is all for charity, with the money going to Knowles Tooth Children’s Charity! So quick go get your ticket
