I used Autentico Versante Mattpaint on the plastic playhouse. I used this paint on the other cubby house and also on my shed. Since painting both of these in Versante Matt, I have had no problems with the paint range, and it has lasted. I made roughly fifty pom moms for my cushion. Making these was the hardest part as it was time-consuming, I made a few each evening when watching the telly. Handmade Christmas ornaments are more than just decorations; they’re a labour of love and a celebration of creativity. Whether you craft them alone or with loved ones, the process becomes a cherished memory. I wanted to make my tree fit in with my style. I watered down some white chalk paint and Ilightly washed it onto the wood. I wiped away some paint to bring out the grain detailwithin the wood. You can skip this step but if you want you can paint your piece. Chalk paint would be handy for this project and you can seal the paint with some wax or lacquer.
I scrubbed down the doors with Krud Kutter degreaser to remove any residue from the kitchen. I also removed any hardware to get a tidy finish. You would be surprised how greasy cabinets can get from the cooker. I then applied one coat of Colourtrend prime 2. I had a big tin of this leftover from previous projects. I have used to Farrow & Ball primer before on this cabinet project. Their primer is amazing, but I also find their paint works the same with the Colourtrend primer. Miniature frames can be adorned with festive accents like ribbons, bows, or small ornaments, creating a heartwarming addition to your tree. These ornaments serve as a visual scrapbook of precious moments, making them a truly special decoration. Hand-painted Baubles Lightly scuff sand the surface of the playhouse and wipe away any dust before applying the paint. Use a spray gun!Adorn them with a touch of paint, glitter, or ribbon to add a festive flair. These ornaments not only exude a rustic charm but also serve as a wonderful reminder of the natural world during winter. Quirky Fabric Christmas Ornaments I used Autentico Versante Matt in the shade Milk for the base of the cubby house. Roughly, I used 1.5 litres of paint.
